Oct. 27, 2013 – Gateshead, “Whose Strife Is It Anyway?”: As part of BBC3’s Free Thinking Festival, novelist Amit Chaudhuri, author of Calcutta, journalist Aamer Ahmed Khan and I discuss who has the right to tell the stories of the dispossessed at BBC Radio 3’s Free Thinking Festival this past October.

Oct. 10, 2013 – Madison, New Jersey: The Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey staged a reading of “Into Dark Waters,” the fourth chapter of “Coolie Woman.” It was part of the theatre’s showcase of the work of writers who won the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship in 2013.
